The Department of Electrical Engineering at National Chung Cheng University was formed at the start of the 1990s. It has over 30 academic staff, over 300 undergraduate students with a similar number in the graduate institute. The department promotes research and actively seeks research funding in seven fields of research: Computer Engineering, Signal and Intelligent Computinging, System on a Chip, Power and Energy, Communication Systems, Communication Networking, and Electromagnetic Integrated Circuits and Systems.
