Virtual system models
Arm Fast Models provide a programming view simulation of Arm IP with profiling, debug and trace that allow software and hardware to be designed without the need for hardware, they support not just processors (Instruction Set Simulation) but memory and peripherals for complete system simulation.
Fast Models can be integrated into the wider SoC design process with interface to EDA tools and other IP block simulation steps. The do not provide timing accuracy to achieve fast simulation execution speeds.
Fixed Virtual Platforms are fixed simulations of an Arm system including interconnect, peripherals and are available for Cortex -A, R, M processors.
Supported for Linux and Windows hosts and within Development Studio for ease of development.
Arm Academic Access provides one licensed seat of Arm virtual system models (fixed and cycle-accurate).
