RFID

High-Frequency (HF) and Ultra High-Frequency (UHF) radio frequency identification (RFID) are becoming pervasive technologies in retail and industrial applications. RFID chips are passive and rely on the reader to provide power and information wirelessly before relaying the tag's ID back using the same wave. RFID tags have applications in sensing and show the potential for enabling battery-free SoCs with computational capabilities to be powered in the same way.
