Wi-Fi
Widely used in enabling wireless internet connectivity at high data rates, Wi-Fi mostly operates in the 2.4 GHz band alongside Bluetooth and other IEEE 802.15 standards and is based on the IEEE 802.11 standard. Wi-Fi offers high power efficiency relative to its data rate and can operate at 5 GHz (WiMax) and around 60 GHz for short-range high-capacity links, where Gbit/s data rates with very low latencies can be achieved.
