Thank you for the welcome & about me

Hi John,

Thank you for your warm welcome, and no worries about the delay. I really appreciate your message.

I joined SoC Labs because I am intrigued by and fascinated with hardware accelerators. Although I am still a newcomer to this area, I find it incredibly exciting and would love to explore it further. I'm hoping SoC Labs will help me better understand how hardware accelerators are designed and integrated into modern SoCs.

If you have any tips, guidance, or suggestions on where I should begin, or any beginner-friendly projects that you think would be a good starting point, I would be more than happy to explore them. I'd really appreciate any advice you can share.

I look forward to collaborating with the SoC Labs community.

Regards,
Vasant Joseph

P.S. A little about myself - I have been working as a digital design engineer for the past three years since completing my undergraduate degree. This fall, I'll be joining the MSc in Microelectronics Systems Design at the University of Southampton. I'm truly passionate about this field and excited to continue learning and contributing wherever I can.

Hi Vasant,

Welcome to SoC Labs, and good to connect again, this time on the platform! Great to hear you'll be joining the MSc in Microelectronics Systems Design at Southampton soon.

It's great that you're keen on hardware accelerators, and your three years of experience as a digital design engineer are a strong base to build on. Once you're settled in, I would suggest starting small to get a feel for the full flow before going deeper into any one area.

Happy to help with pointers when the time comes. Looking forward to seeing where you take this.

Malik.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in welcoming you to SoC Labs. It is great that you have signed up, I see you have added accelerators as an interest. I would be interested in hearing a little more about what you are thinking of developing as a project within SoC Labs and how we might help you.

We look forward to hearing from you,

John.
